ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join YHA Queensland as a key member of our team. As YHA Queensland, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional services to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable. You will work closely with our team to maintain the high standards of our hostels, providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests. WHAT YOU'LL DO As YHA Queensland, your primary responsibilities will include: - Managing the day-to-day operations of our hostels in Queensland - Ensuring exceptional customer service and resolving any guest complaints - Collaborating with the team to maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of our hostels - Developing and implementing strategies to increase guest satisfaction and loyalty - Managing the hostel's budget and resources effectively - Building and maintaining relationships with local suppliers and partners - Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our services WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - A degree in hospitality, business or a related field - At least 2 years of experience in a management role in the hospitality industry - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends WHY REMOTE As a remote worker, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere, allowing you to achieve a better work-life balance.
