Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE Transportation Partners & Logistics is expanding its renewable energy portfolio and seeks a Renewables Project Scheduler to drive the successful delivery of solar, wind, and battery storage projects. In this role you will be the linchpin between engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams, ensuring that every milestone is met on time and within budget. You will own the end‑to‑end schedule for multiple projects, providing data‑driven insights that keep projects on track and stakeholders informed. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will develop and maintain integrated schedules from Notice of Intent through Commercial Operation Date for renewable energy projects, incorporating engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, civil, electrical, installation, commissioning, and grid interconnection activities. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, OEMs, and subcontractors to validate logic, durations, and sequencing, and you will perform critical‑path, float, and risk analyses to identify schedule impacts. You will track progress, update schedules with actuals and forecasts, and create recovery plans for any delays. You will prepare schedule narratives, look‑ahead schedules, and progress reports for internal and external stakeholders, supporting claims, change management, and time‑impact analyses as required. Finally, you will maintain schedule standards, templates, and best practices across the portfolio, continuously seeking process improvements. WHAT YOU'LL NEED A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, project management, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Five or more years of project scheduling experience in utility‑scale energy, power generation, or heavy civil construction, with direct experience supporting solar, wind, or substation projects. Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 is required, along with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Excel. You must possess a deep understanding of construction sequencing, procurement lead times, and commissioning activities, and you should be able to communicate complex schedule data clearly to non‑technical stakeholders. Experience with EPC contracts, battery OEM workflows, Power BI, and resource‑loaded or cost‑loaded schedules is highly desirable. WHY REMOTE Transportation Partners & Logistics embraces a fully distributed, asynchronous culture that empowers teams to work from any location while maintaining high levels of collaboration and accountability. The remote model allows you to balance a flexible schedule with the demands of critical project phases, ensuring that you can deliver high‑quality scheduling work without being tethered to a single office. Our remote‑first approach supports work‑life integration, reduces commute time, and enables you to focus on the analytical rigor required for complex renewable projects. BENEFITS We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes competitive health, dental, and vision coverage; a generous paid time off policy; a remote work stipend to support your home office setup; and a dedicated learning budget for professional development. In addition, you will receive a performance‑based bonus structure, access to a company‑wide wellness program, and opportunities for career advancement within our growing renewable energy division.
