ABOUT THE ROLE W Hotels is a global leader in luxury hospitality, dedicated to igniting curiosity and expanding worlds. As a Gardener on our Albufeira property, you will play a vital role in creating and maintaining the serene, visually stunning landscapes that enhance our guests’ experience. You will work closely with the grounds and maintenance teams to ensure that every outdoor space reflects the brand’s commitment to quality, sustainability, and exceptional service. Your expertise will help transform the property into a living, breathing extension of the W experience, where nature and design converge to inspire guests. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will monitor the property grounds to maintain a polished appearance, inspecting and repairing fountains, planters, and other landscape features. You will install new flora—flowers, bulbs, grass, trees, and shrubs—while maintaining flower beds, baskets, and boxes through watering, weeding, and trimming. You will perform tree and shrub maintenance, including trimming, pruning, and transplanting as needed. Your responsibilities will also include mowing, edging, raking leaves, and operating irrigation systems to keep lawns healthy and attractive. You will operate and maintain equipment such as dump trucks, tractors, and utility vehicles, ensuring all tools are cleaned, refueled, and stored properly. You will adhere to safety protocols, report incidents, and complete required safety training. You will support the team in achieving shared goals and uphold the high standards of quality and professionalism expected at W Hotels. WHAT YOU'LL NEED You hold a high school diploma or G.E.D. and have at least one year of relevant experience in landscaping or groundskeeping. A valid driver’s license is required, and you must be physically able to stand, walk
