ABOUT THE ROLE The City of Campbell River is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of a Bylaw Enforcement Officer. This is a permanent full-time opportunity to serve the community and enforce municipal bylaws. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Bylaw Enforcement Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing municipal bylaws, responding to complaints, and investigating bylaw infractions. You will also be required to provide education and awareness to the public on bylaw requirements and regulations. Additionally, you will work closely with other City departments to ensure effective enforcement and compliance. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma and a valid driver's license. You will also require a strong understanding of municipal bylaws and regulations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in law enforcement or a related field is an asset. WHY REMOTE This position is based in Campbell River, British Columbia, and requires the ability to work independently and travel to various locations within the city.
