ABOUT THE ROLE The Atlanta Gladiators are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to help bring previous seasons back to life through engaging video content. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a sports editing portfolio and gain hands-on experience creating content for a professional sports organization. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and repurposing content into videos for social media, the team website, game presentation, marketing campaigns, and other digital platforms. Your tasks will include editing short-form videos for various social media platforms, creating videos for the Atlanta Gladiators website, email marketing, game operations, and promotional campaigns, and assisting with larger video projects. You will also be responsible for organizing and managing video assets, staying up to date on social media trends, and collaborating with departments on creative concepts and content planning. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need experience editing videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar software. You should have a strong understanding of short-form social media content and current digital trends. You will also need to be able to tell compelling stories through editing, pacing, music, and graphics, and have a creative mindset with strong attention to detail. The ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote environment is also essential.
