Vice President, Product Management - Identity Management

ABOUT THE ROLE Okta is a leading identity and access management company that secures AI by building trusted infrastructure for organizations to safely embrace the new era of AI. We're seeking a visionary, strategic, and highly technical VP of Product for Identity Management to lead two of our fastest-growing and most critical strategic pillars: Okta Identity Governance (OIG) and Okta Privileged Access (OPA). As the VP of Product, you will own the end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, and execution for our modern Workforce Identity Cloud governance and privileged access solutions. WHAT YOU'LL DO As the VP of Product, you will lead a high-performing team of product managers, collaborating closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to redefine how enterprises manage identity lifecycle, compliance, and high-risk access in a cloud-first world. Your key responsibilities will include: - Defining and executing the multi-year product strategy for OIG and OPA, positioning Okta as the dominant leader in unified Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) - Recruiting, mentoring, and inspiring a world-class team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of high ownership, accountability, and user-centric design - Working hand-in-hand with Engineering leadership to deliver scalable, secure, and intuitive enterprise-grade products, maintaining a rigorous focus on speed-to-market without sacrificing quality - Spending time with Fortune 500 CISOs, IT leaders, and industry analysts to deeply understand market trends, regulatory compliance needs, and customer pain points - Partnering with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to define Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, pricing, packaging, and enablement that accelerate pipeline and adoption - Ensuring seamless integration of OIG and OPA within the broader Okta Identity Cloud ecosystem, delivering a unified "single pane of glass" experience for our customers WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - Deep, practical experience within the Identity & Access Management (IAM) landscape, specifically holding a proven track record of designing, building, or scaling sophisticated Identity Governance (IGA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions - 12+ years of product management experience in enterprise SaaS, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role (Director/VP) managing multi-product portfolios - Proven track record of scaling enterprise software products from early traction to $100M+ in ARR - Ability to converse deeply with engineers about cloud architecture, APIs, zero-trust security frameworks, and AI/ML-driven automation - Exceptional ability to distill complex, ambiguous market dynamics into a clear, actionable product roadmap - Masterful storytelling skills to inspire internal teams, command the room with executive stakeholders, and build trust with enterprise customers WHY REMOTE As a remote-friendly company, Okta offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance and be more productive in a setting that suits you best.
