ABOUT THE ROLE As a Vibes on Rails developer at Stripe, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our platform. We're looking for a skilled engineer to join our team and help us create a more efficient and autonomous system for our agents. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing deterministic rules that strictly enforce the success or failure of actions taken by our agents. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Collaborate with our team to identify areas where our platform can be improved to enable more autonomous decision-making by our agents - Design and implement deterministic rules that govern the behavior of our agents, ensuring that their actions are strictly enforced based on these rules - Work closely with our product and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and updates - Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of high-quality, maintainable code - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the implementation of deterministic rules and their impact on our agents' behavior WHAT YOU'LL NEED - 3+ years of experience in software development, preferably in a related field such as computer science or engineering - Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Ruby, Rails, or similar technologies - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues - Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms - Experience with testing frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus WHY REMOTE As a remote employee at Stripe, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere and enjoy a range of benefits that support your well-being and productivity.
