Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE We're seeking a Vendor Sales Coach to join our Sales Development team at LinkedIn, the world's largest professional network. As a Vendor Sales Coach, you will play a critical role in educating and persuading new customers to adopt LinkedIn's platform capabilities. You will partner with our vendor-based Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to onboard new agents and expand successful relationships with existing vendors. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Vendor Sales Coach, your responsibilities will include: - Onboarding and coaching vendor-based SDRs on LinkedIn's Talent product suite, sharing best practices and systems knowledge. - Owning SDR operations, including coaching, training, mentoring, KPI development, and performance tracking. - Monitoring weekly SDR performance metrics, creating vendor performance plans, and sharing insights with SDRs, vendor leadership, and other stakeholders. - Creating content for playbooks on sales development and related topics to support vendor teams' success. - Building influential and trusted partner relationships with vendor sales management, providing guidance on best practices to run a successful sales motion. - Identifying opportunities to improve sales outcomes, finding innovative ways to deliver results, and partnering with central teams to execute vendor operations improvement initiatives. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - 3+ years of sales/sales development experience. - Strong prior experience in sales development, account services, marketing, or business development. - Business fluency in English and other languages is beneficial. - Knowledge of India and APAC markets and nuances of prospecting within them. - Experience managing vendor-based teams. - Experience in motivating, inspiring, and driving teams to sustainable growth. - Strong understanding of the sales cycle, best practices, and techniques. - Ability to influence internal and vendor stakeholders without authority through clear and persuasive communication.
