Vendor Operations Senior Associate

ABOUT THE ROLE Instacart is building a high‑performance Vendor Operations team to support its CX Shopper network. The Vendor Operations Senior Associate will own the day‑to‑day monitoring of BPO partner performance, develop scorecards and dashboards, and drive continuous improvement across the vendor ecosystem. This role requires close collaboration with BPO partners, cross‑functional stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and operational excellence. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will track vendor KPIs daily, identify variances, and conduct root‑cause analysis to trigger corrective actions. You will create and refine scorecards, dashboards, and operational trackers that provide real‑time visibility into vendor health and translate raw data into actionable recommendations. You will manage onboarding, milestone tracking, and off‑boarding processes with BPO partners, escalating complex issues to the appropriate stakeholders. You will support quality and training programs through nesting coordination and QA trend reporting, bridging execution with continuous improvement. Additionally, you will contribute to cross‑team initiatives and Vendor Management strategy projects by preparing stakeholder materials, reviewing process compliance, and providing hands‑on project support. WHAT YOU'LL NEED A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Two to four years of experience in project coordination, customer support operations, or BPO‑related roles. Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to peers and external vendor stakeholders. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Willingness to travel approximately 25 % domestically and internationally, and availability to work Eastern Time Zone business hours.
