ABOUT THE ROLE The Valuer – Gold Loan is responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant gold loan valuations across all branches nationwide. The role requires evaluating gold collateral purity, supporting loan disbursal, conducting audits, and training branch personnel while maintaining strict ethical and confidentiality standards. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will perform gold loan valuations using approved methods and tools, verify the purity of gold collateral, and ensure that disbursals meet established turnaround times. Regular visits to nearby branches will be conducted for stock audits and valuation activities. You will monitor delinquent cases, assist branches in maintaining portfolio quality, and provide training sessions on valuation procedures and fraud awareness. Additionally, you will conduct customer reference checks with professionalism, safeguard client information, and uphold company policies. Collaboration with internal teams to streamline valuation processes, support marketing initiatives, and participate in ad‑hoc departmental activities will also be part of your responsibilities. WHAT YOU'LL NEED A full‑time graduate in any discipline from a recognised institution is required; a postgraduate qualification is preferred. You should have 2 to 5 years of experience in gold valuation or related roles within retail banking or financial services. Strong knowledge of gold purity assessment and valuation techniques is essential. Excellent communication and training skills, a high ethical standard, and a commitment to confidentiality are mandatory. You must be comfortable traveling across regions and working in field conditions. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required, along with a strong sense of responsibility and adherence to company policies.
