ABOUT THE ROLE
Continental Events is a leading provider of immersive experiences, and our Utility Team is the backbone that ensures every event runs flawlessly. As a remote Utility Coordinator, you will support the on‑site operations team by managing inventory, scheduling cleaning cycles, and coordinating logistics to keep venues pristine and fully stocked. Your work will directly influence guest satisfaction and the overall success of each event, allowing you to play a critical role in delivering unforgettable experiences from a distance.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will monitor and replenish cleaning and dishwashing supplies, ensuring that all stock levels meet the demands of peak event times. You will coordinate with on‑site staff to schedule dishwashing, garbage removal, and sanitation tasks, using real‑time data to prevent shortages or downtime. You will track the performance of dishwashing equipment, report any issues to maintenance, and help troubleshoot problems before they affect event flow. You will maintain accurate logs of cleaning activities, providing daily reports to the operations manager. You will also support event setup and teardown by verifying that all necessary equipment and utensils are available and in good condition. Finally, you will collaborate with the procurement team to forecast needs and place orders for consumables, ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
You have at least two years of experience in operations or logistics support, preferably in hospitality or event management. Proficiency with inventory management software and spreadsheets is essential, and you should be comfortable learning new tools quickly. Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment are required. Excellent written communication skills will enable you to produce clear reports and coordinate with on‑site teams across time zones. You must be proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently while maintaining a high level of collaboration. A basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to food service and event venues is a plus.
