Transaction Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE Anthropic is building the next generation of AI systems, and the infrastructure that powers those systems is critical to our success. As a Transaction Manager you will own the end‑to‑end process for securing data center capacity, from identifying opportunities through to lease execution. You will work closely with developers, brokers, power providers, and internal teams across legal, finance, engineering, and operations to ensure that every deal meets Anthropic’s technical, financial, and strategic requirements. Your work will directly enable the reliability and scalability of our AI workloads, making this role essential to the company’s growth and mission. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will lead the RFP and commercial sourcing process for large data center deals, managing outreach to developers and evaluating proposals to identify the best opportunities. You will negotiate term sheets and LOIs, structuring commercial terms that align with Anthropic’s power, cooling, and connectivity needs while maintaining strong partner relationships. You will serve as the central project manager for cross‑functional stakeholder engagement, coordinating due diligence, legal counsel, network engineers, and finance to keep projects on schedule. You will act as the single point of contact for auxiliary organizations such as networks, deployments, and government relations, providing regular updates on transaction progress. You will develop and refine transaction playbooks, ensuring scalable processes as the company expands its infrastructure footprint. Finally, you will document all stakeholder requirements, translating technical and operational needs into enforceable contractual terms. WHAT YOU'LL NEED You bring at least ten years of experience in transaction management, commercial real estate, data center leasing, or infrastructure procurement, with a proven track record of managing complex, multi‑stakeholder deals from sourcing through execution. Your negotiation skills are strong, with experience structuring term sheets, LOIs, and commercial agreements. You excel at project management, coordinating simultaneously across legal, technical, finance, and operational teams. You have deep experience with RFP processes and competitive sourcing for large‑scale infrastructure or real‑estate transactions. Your communication skills are exceptional, enabling you to serve as an effective liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners. You are highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to maintain focus on strategic objectives in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
