ABOUT THE ROLE The Test Req position is a key role within the quality assurance team, responsible for ensuring that software products meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and user experience. This role supports the development lifecycle by designing, executing, and maintaining test plans that validate new features and identify defects before release. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and designers to understand functional requirements and translate them into comprehensive test cases. Your day‑to‑day tasks will include creating and executing manual and automated test scripts, logging and tracking defects, and verifying bug fixes. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating testing processes, recommending tools, and sharing best practices with the broader engineering community. Additionally, you will participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and cross‑functional meetings to ensure quality is integrated from the earliest stages of development. WHAT YOU'LL NEED A solid foundation in software testing principles and experience with test management tools is essential. You should be comfortable writing clear, concise test cases and have a keen eye for detail when reviewing code and user interfaces. Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and scripting languages (such as Python, JavaScript, or Java) is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, will enable you to articulate findings and collaborate effectively with remote teammates.
