The role is fully remote, allowing you to leverage digital tools and real‑time data to diagnose issues, schedule preventive maintenance and coordinate with onsite crews. Your contributions will help Sunbelt maintain its reputation for dependable, high‑quality equipment and customer satisfaction. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse range of equipment, including aerial platforms, generators, pumps and HVAC units. - Use diagnostic software and telematics to identify performance issues, document findings and recommend corrective actions. - Collaborate with regional service managers and field technicians to prioritize work orders and reduce equipment downtime. - Maintain accurate maintenance logs, safety records and compliance documentation in the company’s CMMS. - Provide remote troubleshooting support to onsite crews, guiding them through step‑by‑step solutions via video or chat. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, sharing insights that enhance maintenance processes and reduce costs. WHAT YOU'LL NEED - High school diploma or GED; trade school or equivalent training in mechanical, electrical or diesel technology preferred. - 1‑3 years of hands‑on experience with diesel or heavy‑construction equipment, generators, pumps or HVAC systems. - Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, with proven troubleshooting skills. - Ability to work independently, manage priorities and adapt to changing schedules in a fast‑paced environment. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English; bilingual Spanish or another language is an asset. - Comfortable using remote collaboration tools, mobile diagnostics apps and digital maintenance platforms.
