ABOUT THE ROLE We are Stripe, a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. As a Technical Writer on our Docs Content team, you will play a critical role in making our products easy to use for developers and everyday users. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will join our team to help users adopt our industry-leading technologies and to help Stripe product teams ship exemplary documentation at docs.stripe.com. Your responsibilities will include: - Documenting Stripe products, including conceptual overviews, task-based guides, APIs, and tutorials for different products - Maintaining content quality through curation, user feedback, and content performance analysis - Working alongside our developers, product teams, and support engineers to ensure content expertise and documentation accuracy - Delivering results in a dynamic work environment with plenty of autonomy - Pushing Stripe docs forward by dreaming up and implementing new ways to deliver, author, analyze, and interact with technical content WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be considered for this role, you should have at least 4 years of technical writing experience. You should be able to collaborate, partner with, and learn from other skilled tech writers. Proficiency in HTML and Markdown is also required, as well as conversance with Git and VSCode. Additionally, you should be adept at communicating technical concepts clearly and precisely.
