Technical Account Manager 2 - West

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Account Manager 2 to join our team at Datadog. As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for providing hands-on technical services to our largest customers, supporting, adopting, and providing guidance over the comprehensive suite of products and features available at Datadog. You will be an expert and trusted advisor for how IT Operations translates to business value. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Technical Account Manager 2, you will advise on technical support and product adoption for customers in line with pre-sales, post-sales, and renewal processes. You will analyze customers' IT Operations environments on a regular basis and provide recommendations to maximize Datadog's value. You will be the customer's advocate, knowing their goals and use cases, and suggesting process changes, product adoption, configuration, and additional features to meet their requirements. You will participate and prepare for Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews with customers and collaborate with Datadog's product management, engineering, and technical services teams to help identify new features and products. You will continuously evolve best practices for technical product adoption and customer success. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need a solid technical grounding and hands-on experience of IT Operations. You will be confident in your experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and comfortable with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, Go, PHP, or Chef/Puppet. You will be skilled in using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab and knowledgeable about containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher. You will have previous experience working as a Technical Account Manager supporting mid-market and/or Enterprise customers in the cloud space and experience using Datadog and/or other cloud monitoring tools.
