Sr. Manager, Global Sales Business Partners
Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
Twilio is a global leader in cloud communications, empowering businesses and developers to build connected experiences through APIs, voice, messaging, and video. The Senior Manager, Global Sales Business Partners will lead a high‑performing team that partners with Twilio’s sales organization to drive revenue growth, optimize sales processes, and deliver world‑class customer value across multiple regions. This role is pivotal in aligning product strategy with market demand, ensuring that sales teams have the tools, insights, and support needed to close complex deals and expand Twilio’s footprint in enterprise and developer communities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will recruit, coach, and develop a team of Business Partners who act as strategic advisors to the global sales organization, guiding them through the entire sales cycle from qualification to closing. You will design and implement scalable sales enablement programs, including training, playbooks, and performance analytics, to increase win rates and accelerate deal velocity. You will collaborate closely with product, marketing, and customer success to translate market feedback into actionable sales strategies and to ensure a seamless handoff between pre‑ and post‑sale activities. You will own the quarterly performance metrics for your team, driving continuous improvement through data‑driven coaching and feedback loops. You will serve as a key stakeholder in the development of global pricing, packaging, and incentive plans, ensuring alignment with Twilio’s growth objectives. Finally, you will represent Twilio at industry events and in partner ecosystems, building relationships that reinforce Twilio’s market leadership.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
You bring at least eight years of experience in sales enablement or business partnership roles within a high‑growth SaaS or cloud communications company, with a proven track record of building and scaling global teams. You possess deep knowledge of enterprise sales processes, from solution selling to complex negotiations, and can translate technical product capabilities into compelling business value propositions. Your analytical mindset allows you to derive insights from CRM and performance data, turning metrics into actionable strategies. You are an effective communicator who can influence senior leaders, coach sales professionals, and collaborate across cross‑functional teams. Strong project management skills, a bias for results, and a passion for continuous learning are essential. Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
