Technical Account Manager 2 - San Francisco

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a Technical Account Manager 2 to join our team at Datadog. As a Technical Account Manager, you will play a critical role in enabling Datadog's worldwide growth by educating potential clients and ensuring that existing customers are happy and successful. You will provide hands-on technical services to our largest customers, supporting, adopting, and providing guidance over the comprehensive suite of products and features available at Datadog. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Technical Account Manager 2, you will be responsible for advising on technical support and product adoption for customers, analyzing customer's IT Operations environment, and providing recommendations to maximize Datadog's value. You will also be the customer's advocate, suggesting process changes, product adoption, configuration, and additional features to meet their requirements. Additionally, you will participate in Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews with customers, collaborate with Datadog's product management, engineering, and technical services teams, and continuously evolve best practices for technical product adoption and customer success. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need a solid technical grounding and hands-on experience of IT Operations, as well as experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. You will also need to be comfortable with scripting languages such as Python, Javascript, Ruby, Perl, Go, PHP, or Chef/Puppet, and skilled in using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab. Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher is also required. Previous experience working as a Technical Account Manager supporting mid-market and/or Enterprise customers in the cloud space is highly desirable, as is experience using Datadog and/or other cloud monitoring tools.
