ABOUT THE ROLE The Team Lead Solutions Consultant, Financial Services role at Braze is a hands-on player-coach position that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and industry knowledge. As a key member of the Braze team, you will be responsible for managing a team of Solutions Consultants, building out the financial services vertical in the Americas division, and partnering with various teams to drive business growth. WHAT YOU'LL DO In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of Solutions Consultants, coaching and mentoring them to achieve success in their deals. You will also be directly involved in opportunities, running pre-sales end-to-end on major accounts, and building credibility across the full financial services buying team. Additionally, you will create sales plays, discovery frameworks, and competitive positioning for Braze in the financial services sector, and work directly with sales, marketing, and product teams to define how to grow in this segment. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of people management and leadership skills, with experience in Pre-sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Customer Success. You will also need to be an exceptional written and verbal communicator with strong executive presence and follow-through. Additionally, you will need to have domain knowledge in two or more of the following areas: AI, SaaS, Mobile, APIs, Marketing Automation, Marketing Analytics, Data and Architecture, Security and Compliance, or Programming (including HTML). WHY REMOTE This role is a hybrid position that requires occasional travel, but the majority of the work can be done remotely. Braze is a global company with a remote-friendly culture, and this role is designed to accommodate a flexible work schedule. BENEFITS This role comes with a comprehensive Total Rewards package, including equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) and a competitive salary range of $121,000 to $159,000/year, with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $173,000 and $227,000/year (including bonus or commission). The company also offers a range of benefits, including comprehensive health insurance, parental leave, education stipend, and life insurance, which vary by location.
