Anthropic
Supply Chain Delivery Manager, Data Center Power & Cooling OFE
Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
Anthropic is accelerating the deployment of data center capacity at a pace unmatched in the industry. As a Supply Chain Delivery Manager for Data Center Power & Cooling OFE, you will be the linchpin that ensures every piece of owner‑furnished equipment—from transformers to chillers—arrives on time and in perfect condition. Your work will directly influence the readiness of critical AI infrastructure, keeping projects on schedule and safeguarding the reliability of our AI systems. You will collaborate closely with Construction, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Strategic Sourcing, Commissioning, and our general contractors, translating complex supply‑chain data into actionable plans that keep the entire portfolio moving forward.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will own the end‑to‑end delivery plan for each site, coordinating order placement, engineering approvals, production slots, FAT dates, ship dates, and required‑on‑site dates, all aligned with the general contractor’s construction schedule. During pre‑construction you will engage with stakeholders to set delivery expectations, sequence equipment arrivals, and flag schedule risks before purchase orders are issued. You will lead OFE kickoff meetings at the site level, establishing clear points of contact, delivery windows, receiving requirements, and escalation paths. A live tracker will be your single source of truth, capturing every line item’s status, milestones, and risk rating across the portfolio. You will run weekly cadence meetings with OEMs and integrators, verify production progress against committed slots, and drive recovery plans for factory slips, component shortages, FAT failures, and shipping delays. You will partner with Sourcing on corporate‑level supplier escalations, bringing site‑level intelligence to commercial conversations, and hold the GC OFCI teams accountable for receiving, storage, and installation‑readiness performance. Logistics responsibilities will include coordinating transportation for oversized or high‑value equipment, managing laydown and staging decisions, and ensuring all accessories, spares, documentation, and vendor startup support arrive complete. Finally, you will identify, triage, and report delivery risks, lead recurring Capacity Delivery Reviews, track delivery KPIs, and feed lessons learned back into Sourcing and Construction to improve future programs.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
You bring 8–12+ years of experience in supply‑chain delivery, equipment expediting, construction management, or infrastructure program management on large‑scale, schedule‑driven construction programs. Hands‑on experience delivering power and cooling equipment for mission‑critical facilities—transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS, busway, chillers, CDUs, air handlers—is essential, as is familiarity with OEM build and ship processes. You have a proven track record of managing cross‑functional escalations, knowing when to expedite, resequence, or engage commercial channels. Strong analytical skills allow you to translate complex data into clear risk assessments and actionable plans. Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills enable you to lead meetings, negotiate with suppliers, and collaborate across engineering, construction, and sourcing teams. A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for ensuring delivery performance aligns with aggressive project timelines are critical for success in this role.
