ABOUT THE ROLE Macpac Carindale is a high‑potential store only two years into its journey. We are looking for an ambitious Assistant Store Manager or Team Leader to step into a Store Manager role. You will lead from the front, coach a supportive team, and shape the store’s future while gaining the skills needed for a full Store Manager position. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will maximise sales, ensure smooth operations, and create a positive, engaging atmosphere for customers and staff. Your responsibilities include leading by example, delivering excellent customer service, motivating a small team, managing diverse personalities, training staff, driving floor sales, and achieving results. You will also handle visual merchandising, stock control, health and safety, store security, and basic financial reporting. WHAT YOU'LL NEED - Leadership experience, ideally in retail or customer service - Strong customer‑service focus and the ability to inspire a team - Confidence managing a range of personalities - Skills in training, sales driving, visual merchandising, stock control, health and safety, store security, and basic financial reporting - A passion for the outdoors or travel is preferable, though experience with outdoor clothing and equipment is not essential WHY REMOTE This role is fully remote, offering flexible scheduling with Tuesday to Saturday shifts that respect your days off.
