WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Health Staff Writer, you will be responsible for writing 2-3 timely, well-reported stories daily on trending health topics, with a focus on health and wellness verticals. You will work independently to pitch high-impact stories each day, aligned with search trends and vertical priorities. You will collaborate closely with editors, compliance, and cross-functional teams to ensure coverage is accurate, timely, and aligned with Forbes Health editorial standards. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you should have a passion for writing high-quality, consumer-focused health content in a fast-paced news cycle. You should have a strong portfolio demonstrating clear and accurate reporting within the health and wellness industries, as well as a proven ability to translate complex health and medical topics into concise, accessible, and actionable content for a broad audience. You should also have a working knowledge of SEO best practices and be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple daily deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.
