Staff Product Manager, Local Processor Acquiring

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to lead the Local Processor Acquiring (LPA) team at Stripe. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for LPA, enabling businesses to accept payments from billions of consumers worldwide without needing to set up local operations. You will navigate complex regulatory environments, partner relationships, and deeply different local payment ecosystems to deliver a seamless and reliable product experience. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Product Manager for LPA, you will own the end-to-end product strategy across multiple markets, including partner selection and integration architecture, buyer UX, merchant activation, and product interoperability with Connect, Billing, Radar, and Terminal. You will deeply understand each market's payment ecosystem, regulatory requirements, consumer preferences, and competitive dynamics to drive prioritization and sequencing decisions. You will set an ambitious roadmap and drive execution with a scrappy, high-velocity team across Engineering, Partnerships, Legal, Risk, and GTM. You will be responsible for breaking down the massive surface area of "launch a country" into tractable, shippable pieces. You will also be the best seller and marketer for the product, working directly with Sales to close strategic accounts, handle objections, build pitch materials, and drive adoption across existing Stripe users. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need to be a deeply technical, scrappy, data-driven PM who obsesses over solving problems end to end. You will thrive in ambiguity, taking a complex, multi-market, multi-partner problem and breaking it down into clear milestones and shippable increments. You will go deep to understand the regulatory constraints, the money flows, the partner dynamics, and the buyer psychology in each market, and you will use that understanding to make high-conviction decisions quickly.
