ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Staff Product Manager I to lead the development and vision of our Ad Serving platform at Lyft Ads. This platform powers the delivery of ads to millions of consumers throughout their transportation journeys, connecting brands with key moments of their journey. As a key member of our team, you will own the development and forward-looking vision for the platform, helping us accelerate our capabilities and execute across a fast-paced team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Staff Product Manager I, you will be responsible for:
- Developing the strategy and objectives for our Ad Serving platform, building a roadmap and leading a core team of engineers and data scientists to achieve it.
- Aligning cross-functional partners and teams to drive a shared vision, including Sales, Legal, Finance, Operations, and internal marketing teams.
- Taking a holistic yield management approach across direct demand and external supply channels.
- Clearly communicating priorities, problems, experiments, and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences.
- Owning your team's products from ideation through development, launch, growth, and maintenance.
- Understanding Lyft Ads' strategic and competitive position, setting your team's goals, success metrics, and roadmap to align with Lyft's mission and drive maximum impact.
- Serving as a champion of our advertisers and advocate for their needs at all levels of the company.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 8+ years of product management experience with a record of launching and scaling ad platforms from 0 to 1.
- Deep expertise in either real-time bidding or ad serving domains, with experience working on one or more of the following: ad decisioning logic, targeting systems, scoring, ranking, advertiser optimization, yield optimization, integrations with SSPs and DSPs.
- Passion for Lyft and what we are trying to achieve in sustainable urban transportation.
- A natural ability to make things happen around you, managing project ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies in an organized and structured way.
- Excellent judgment and thoughtfulness about the dynamics of a product ecosystem.
- Strong communication skills and intuition for communication strategy at every level.
- Experience leading post-launch optimizations, including developing testing strategies.
- Ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects for stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills.
WHY REMOTE
This role will be based in our New York City office, with a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days of in-office work per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. You will have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.
