Staff Product Manager, Core Rider

ABOUT THE ROLE
We're seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead the Core Rider team at Lyft, responsible for the consumer app experience. As a key member of our product management team, you'll drive the development of the rider journey, from the home screen to the in-trip experience, and beyond. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to build innovative solutions that meet the needs of millions of users.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Staff Product Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Understanding Lyft's strategic position and setting goals that align with our mission
- Developing an ambitious vision that inspires and motivates your team, peers, and leadership
- Owning your team's products, from ideation to launch, growth, and maintenance
- Leading cross-functional partners and teams to drive a shared vision
- Communicating clear roadmaps, priorities, and decisions across various audiences
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- 6+ years of experience in product management, product design, or equivalent consultant experience with significant time spent leading consumer mobile apps
- Passion for Lyft and sustainable urban transportation
- Ability to manage project ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies
- Excellent judgment and thoughtfulness about product ecosystems
- Strong communication skills and intuition for communication strategy
- Experience leading post-launch optimizations and conceptualizing, managing, and prioritizing multiple projects
- Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills
WHY REMOTE (LYFT'S HYBRID SCHEDULE)
While Lyft values in-office collaboration, this role will be based on a hybrid schedule, with 3 days per week in-office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. You'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.
