Webflow
Staff Product Manager, AI
Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're seeking a highly skilled Staff Product Manager, AI to lead the direction of how AI shows up across Webflow's platform. This is a critical role that will set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Webflow's agent surfaces, including the Webflow AI Assistant, MCP, Agent Instructions, and the AI platform underneath.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Staff Product Manager, AI, you'll be responsible for:
- Owning the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Webflow's agent surfaces, and driving it through to delivery with Engineering, Design, and Data.
- Making the agent surfaces work together seamlessly, building shared primitives, and keeping teams aligned to ship a coherent product.
- Setting the standard for what "good" means when products never behave the same way twice, defining the quality bar for agent experiences, and the evals, guardrails, and metrics that hold the whole area to it.
- Serving developers and creators at the same time, balancing developer-grade surfaces like MCP and APIs against an approachable assistant for visual, less-technical creators.
- Driving alignment across Webflow, not just your own teams, representing the agent area to leadership, turning strategy into committed plans, and navigating cross-functional disagreement.
- Rolling up your sleeves and building, delivering value any way you can, up to and including contributing to the product directly in code.
- Placing durable, multi-year bets as the AI landscape shifts, staying close to customers, telling real standards from fads, and keeping raising the bar on how fast and how well we ship.
- Raising the bar for the craft around you, setting reusable patterns and standards other teams build on, and mentoring PMs and partners as the agent practice grows.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 8+ years of product management experience, with deep expertise in AI-powered systems and a track record of owning strategy for large, ambiguous product areas.
- Experience with platforms, APIs, and extensibility, and a deep understanding of where LLM-based tools shine and where they break down.
- A proven ability to set the bar for "good" on non-deterministic products, defining the evals, guardrails, and success metrics that keep quality high when outputs vary from run to run.
- The ability to serve two audiences at once, building both developer-grade tools and approachable products for less-technical creators.
- A passion for the full craft of building software, with a willingness to get into the details wherever the work needs you.
WHY REMOTE
This role is remote-first, with a focus on collaboration and communication across teams. As a remote employee, you'll be expected to work independently and manage your time effectively, while also being available to collaborate with colleagues as needed.
BENEFITS
This role is also eligible to participate in Webflow's company-wide bonus program, with target amounts based on base salary and company performance. Additionally, Webflow offers a competitive cash compensation package, tailored to align with the cost of labor in different geographic markets. The base pay range for this role is $186,000 - $265,000, depending on location and experience
