ABOUT THE ROLE The Staff Product Manager, AI role at Brex is a critical position that involves shaping the direction and strategy of the Brex Assistant, an AI agent that acts as an executive assistant for every employee. This product has the potential to revolutionize the way employees interact with their finances, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to own and drive this product from inception to launch. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Staff Product Manager, AI, you will be responsible for setting the product direction and strategy for the Brex Assistant. This includes defining agent capabilities that take real actions for users, translating messy real-world expense and spend workflows into reliable agent behaviors, and inventing the "how" to make the agent dependable. You will also be responsible for getting hands-on, prototyping, measuring, reading transcripts, and iterating quickly toward what actually works. Additionally, you will need to talk to users constantly to figure out what will actually help them. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the business and be able to identify and scope out the most impactful opportunities for Brex to tackle. You will also need to have excellent communication and collaboration skills, as you will be working closely with engineering, design, and research teams. Experience with AI and machine learning is a plus, but not required. WHY REMOTE Brex is a remote-friendly company, and this role is no exception. While the role will require some in-office work, you will have the flexibility to work from home up to 4 weeks per year, in increments of at least one week.
