Staff AI Engineer - 2nd Horizon | UK | Remote

ABOUT THE ROLE We're seeking a Staff AI Engineer to join our 2nd Horizon team at Grafana Labs, a 100% remote company with a global collaborative culture. As a Staff AI Engineer, you will play a key role in developing AI-powered features that help users understand, respond to, and improve their systems. Our team operates with a high degree of autonomy and ownership, and we're looking for someone who can take ownership of developing delightful, high-performance AI features. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Staff AI Engineer, you will design, develop, test, and ship AI-powered features that can manage dealing with large datasets. You will work on building and delivering AI solutions that help users discover, organize, and optimize access to large datasets. You will also collaborate with the rest of the team to shape AI-driven product features, including the integration of agentic components with internal tools like Slack and alerting systems. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need strong engineering skills, solid experience building production-grade, user-facing software systems. You should be familiar with AI technologies and frameworks, and you should focus on delivering high-quality solutions that work in the real world.
