ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly skilled Staff AI Engineer to join our 2nd Horizon team at Grafana Labs. As a Staff AI Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and delivering AI-powered features that help users understand, respond to, and improve their systems. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Staff AI Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and shipping AI-powered features that manage large datasets and expand the capabilities of analytics-focused AI agents. Your primary focus will be on building and delivering AI solutions that help users discover, organize, and optimize access to large datasets. You will also be expected to collaborate with the rest of the team to shape AI-driven product features, including the integration of agentic components with internal tools. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong software engineering background, a quick iteration mindset, and a passion for experimentation. You should be familiar with AI technologies and frameworks and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions that work in the real world.
