ABOUT THE ROLE As a Sr Analyst Payroll for the APJ region at Elastic, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Payroll Manager and collaborating with various internal teams to enhance our payroll systems across the Asia Pacific and Japan region. This position offers an opportunity to make a tangible impact on our payroll operations and shape the future of our company. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Sr Analyst Payroll, you will be responsible for processing payroll for the APJ region accurately and on time, resolving discrepancies, and addressing employee inquiries through ServiceNow. You will also coordinate data entry and maintenance of payroll information systems, conduct reconciliations of payroll accounts, and prepare payroll reports. Additionally, you will implement data validation checks to ensure accurate payroll processing, support stakeholders with ad-hoc requests for payroll data analysis, and deliver timely and insightful information. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations throughout the APJ region, maintaining current knowledge of payroll compliance requirements and best practices, and collaborating with the legal team to address compliance-related queries and implement necessary changes. Furthermore, you will generate and analyze payroll reports to identify trends and discrepancies, prepare documentation for internal and external audits related to payroll processing, and collaborate with finance teams to ensure payroll data reconciles accurately with financial reports. You will also work closely with HR teams to align on payroll-related issues, facilitate effective communication between payroll and finance departments, and maintain solid relationships with payroll vendors to ensure effective service delivery.
