ABOUT THE ROLE As a Specialist, Treasury & Banking Operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of Coinbase's treasury and banking activities. This position is part of the Finance team and requires a high level of expertise in payment operations, treasury operations, and banking. You will be responsible for executing critical payment workflows, resolving escalated issues, and collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to launch new payment capabilities. WHAT YOU'LL DO In this role, you will be responsible for: - Executing day-to-day treasury and banking operations, including bank account funding, balance monitoring, and liquidity forecasting. - Processing daily customer payments across multiple fiat rails, ensuring timely and compliant settlement. - Investigating and resolving escalated payment issues by conducting root-cause research and coordinating with banking partners. - Partnering with Product and Engineering teams to test and launch new payment rail integrations. - Collaborating with internal compliance, legal, and finance teams to fulfill regulatory and banking requests. - Serving as a primary operations contact for banking partners, triaging issues related to fiat rail integrations and customer payments. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - 2-4 years of experience in payment operations, treasury operations, or banking with hands-on exposure to money movement across multiple payment rails. - Demonstrated proficiency with ACH and multi-rail payment processing; AAP or NACHA certification is strongly preferred. - 1-2 years of experience managing relationships with third-party vendors, banking institutions, or internal cross-functional partners. - Proven ability to balance competing priorities and deliver accurate, detail-oriented work in a high-volume payment operations environment. - Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality. BENEFITS Coinbase offers a competitive salary, with an annual base salary range of $106,210 - $111,800 USD. Additionally, total compensation may include equity and bonus eligibility, as well as benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
