ABOUT THE ROLE
The Social Media Manager will play a key role in bringing Later's brand to life across social platforms, driving brand equity, and business outcomes. This position is built for someone who is equally at home developing a content strategy, executing a full publishing calendar, and stepping in front of the camera to create compelling on-platform content.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a content strategy across priority platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube. This will involve:

- Partnering with the Senior Content Marketing Manager and fellow social media manager to develop quarterly and monthly content themes that map to Later Media's story.
- Identifying trending formats, sounds, and cultural conversations early, and translating those signals into content ideas that feel native to each platform while staying true to Later's voice.
- Developing and maintaining platform-specific strategies that reflect each channel's unique audience behavior, algorithm dynamics, and content formats.
- Collaborating with Content, Creative, and Growth Marketing teams to align social activity with campaign launches, blog priorities, and product announcements.
- Creating and appearing in short-form video content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, confidently representing the Later brand on camera.
- Writing compelling copy for social posts, captions, and video scripts that reflect Later's brand voice.
- Collaborating with the Creative team on asset production, contributing creative direction for graphics, video, and motion content while maintaining brand consistency.
- Monitoring and actively engaging with Later's social communities across platforms, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a way that builds genuine connection with our audience.
- Identifying and engaging with creators, customers, and brand advocates in a way that strengthens Later's presence within the creator and social media management community.
- Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on social performance to inform content strategy and product marketing messaging.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
