ABOUT THE ROLE Smokemart & GiftBox is a leading name in Australia’s tobacco and gifting market, now part of the Viva Energy group. As a remote Sales Assistant you will be the first point of contact for our online customers, ensuring they receive the same high‑quality service and product knowledge that has made our physical stores a trusted destination for over 30 years. Your role will support the brand’s expansion into digital retail, helping to drive sales, build customer loyalty, and maintain the strong reputation for friendly, knowledgeable service that defines SMGB. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will greet and assist customers through live chat, email, and phone, providing detailed product information and personalized recommendations. You will process online orders, handle payment transactions, and resolve any payment or delivery issues with speed and accuracy. You will collaborate with the merchandising team to keep product listings up to date, ensuring images, descriptions, and inventory levels reflect current stock. You will monitor sales metrics, report on performance against targets, and suggest improvements to increase conversion rates. You will also support stock control by coordinating with the warehouse team to track inventory levels and flag potential shortages. Finally, you will uphold all national legislation, WHS, and security guidelines in a virtual environment, ensuring a safe and compliant customer experience. WHAT YOU'LL
