Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE The Senior Team Member Relations Partner will guide managers through complex team member relations matters across GitLab's global organization, including performance management, investigations, and policy compliance. This is a senior-level individual contributor role that reports to the Team Member Relations Director, requiring a high degree of autonomy on sensitive and higher-risk matters. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Team Member Relations Partner, you will lead sensitive investigations from intake through resolution, coach and advise leaders on complex team member relations issues, and partner with Legal and People Business Partners to review and assess team member relations cases. You will also support proactive programs that help prevent workplace issues and concerns, help develop and apply policies, and analyze case trends to inform programs and risk-reduction strategies. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need progressive employee or team member relations experience, including leading complex, multi-party workplace investigations. You should have a working knowledge of United States employment law relevant to team member relations, including the Family and Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act. Experience working in a distributed, multi-jurisdiction, or global organization is also essential. WHY REMOTE As a remote employee, you will have the opportunity to work with a high degree of autonomy and contribute to GitLab's all-remote organization. You will be part of a team that helps GitLab address workplace matters consistently, fairly, and in line with applicable requirements and values. BENEFITS GitLab offers a range of benefits to support your health, finances, and well-being, including flexible paid time off and a total rewards package.
