ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Talent Program Manager on the Talent Programs team within People Success at Coinbase, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's talent acquisition and evaluation processes. This is a high-impact position that requires a strategic thinker with exceptional program management skills, a strong understanding of talent evaluation methodologies, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing selection and assessment programs that ensure high-quality hiring decisions across Coinbase. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Owning the end-to-end design and implementation of selection and assessment programs, including developing frameworks, rubrics, and calibration processes
- Leading cross-functional program execution with various teams, including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, People Analytics, and HR Tech
- Building scalable interviewer enablement programs to strengthen how hiring teams evaluate candidates
- Driving change management strategy for new selection and assessment programs, ensuring stakeholder alignment and adoption
- Partnering with People Analytics to define success metrics for selection programs and using data to validate assessment effectiveness
- Researching and piloting new assessment tools, techniques, and vendor solutions to shape the methodology behind talent evaluation
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- At least 7 years of experience in HR program management, talent operations, or HR/people-focused management consulting, with a proven track record of designing and implementing structured frameworks and programs
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent cross-functional programs, build detailed project plans, and deliver measurable outcomes
- Experience building or redesigning structured interview processes, assessment rubrics, or evaluation frameworks at a technology company
- Fluency in using data to validate program effectiveness, including defining KPIs, analyzing hiring outcomes, and translating findings into actionable recommendations
- Strong preference for a background in industrial-organizational psychology, psychometrics, or applied research methods, with experience applying selection science to talent evaluation design
- Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality
WHY REMOTE
Coinbase is a remote-first company, with quarterly in-person working sessions called "surges." This role will require occasional travel to these sessions, but the majority of work will be done remotely.

Coinbase offers a competitive total compensation package, including an annual base salary range of $166,345 to $195,700 USD, equity, and bonus eligibility, as well as benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans.
