Senior Strategic Finance Associate

ABOUT THE ROLE The Senior Strategic Finance Associate is a high-impact role at Mixpanel, a leading digital analytics platform trusted by over 29,000 companies worldwide. This position is a trusted advisor to functional leaders across the business, owning the end-to-end financial planning process for a major domain and driving analytical rigor that shapes leadership decisions. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Strategic Finance Associate, you will be responsible for owning the end-to-end financial planning process for a major domain, defining the 6-12 month financial strategy, building business cases for major investments, and designing and improving planning processes. You will also lead cross-functional analyses, partner with functional budget owners, and ensure data quality, metric consistency, and alignment on assumptions. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need 5-8 years of FP&A or Strategic Finance experience, ideally in high-growth SaaS, with demonstrated ownership of a planning domain end-to-end. You will also need expert-level financial modeling skills, deep expertise across multiple planning domains, strong SQL skills, and experience working with BI tools, FP&A platforms, and ERP systems. A BS/BA in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required, with an MBA or CFA a plus. BENEFITS The total target compensation for this full-time position is $174,600 - $213,400 across the United States, including base compensation and variable compensation in the form of either a company bonus or commissions. This position is also eligible for equity consideration and other benefits, including medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage.
