Senior Sales Engineer, Enterprise

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Engineer to join our Enterprise sales team at Fivetran. As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in understanding our Enterprise customers' complex business needs and showcasing how Fivetran's data replication solutions can help them achieve their desired business outcomes. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise, identifying technical requirements, and ensuring a successful proof-of-value throughout the sales cycle. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Sales Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include: - Working with Enterprise customers to understand their business, use cases, and data replication requirements - Developing and delivering technical presentations to Enterprise audiences - Ensuring the technical win by running an organized proof-of-value process - Collaborating with multiple cross-functional organizations to drive change and improvements to Fivetran as a whole - Working closely with multiple Sales representatives while maintaining a high level of customer focus and technical excellence - Staying up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in our industry - Assisting team members in advanced technical or business roadblocks WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - Proficiency in German language - Experience working with AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, New Relic, Linux, Windows, Python, and Java - Strong technical expertise and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically WHY REMOTE This is a full-time remote position based in Germany, with preference for Munich.
