Senior Relationship Account Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE The Senior Relationship Account Manager is a key member of MongoDB's Scaled Growth Organization, responsible for sustaining long-term partnerships with the company's mature customers. This role involves driving retention and expansion, and requires a passion for technology and a willingness to dive head-first into new challenges. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Relationship Account Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for a customer portfolio, responsible for their success, education, enablement, upsell/cross-sell, renewal, and overall growth. Your day-to-day tasks will include working as a strategic advisor to the customer, aligning with their MongoDB initiatives, internal processes, bottlenecks, and overall corporate strategy. You will also proactively prospect, identify, qualify, and build relationships with additional contacts across your customer base, negotiate renewals and growth opportunities, and promote the implementation of MongoDB features. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you will need 5+ years of quota-carrying experience in an Account Management, Business Development, Sales, or similarly customer-centric role. You should have a proven track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets, as well as outstanding verbal and written communication skills. A background and passion for driving value and growth with customers via virtual meetings, and the ability to articulate the value of a complex enterprise technology, are also essential.
