Senior Project Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior Project Manager in the Professional Services Excellence team at Adyen, you will be responsible for turning the company's most important priorities into well-structured, well-run initiatives that improve how PS works, collaborates, and delivers. This is an execution and strategy role, not a coordination one, where you will shape direction as much as you drive it, pressure-testing which initiatives matter, framing the problem, and then owning delivery end to end. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include: Drive execution and deliver meaningful change by translating PS priorities into clear, structured plans with timelines, milestones, dependencies, ownership, and measurable outcomes. You will lead end-to-end delivery of PS-wide and cross-domain initiatives, ensuring they land in operations, and bring strong change management discipline to new processes, workflows, and tools. Shape priorities and provide leverage to PS leadership by pressure-testing priorities with leadership, assessing where the biggest gaps, risks, and opportunities sit, and bringing a clear point of view on where to focus. You will turn strategy and broad goals into actionable plans, helping leadership move from intent to execution, and surface risks, trade-offs, and progress clearly, enabling better and faster decisions. Improve how PS operates by identifying inefficiencies or gaps in how we work, designing improvements that raise consistency, scalability, and delivery quality, and partnering with analytics partners to define metrics, measure impact, and validate that initiatives drive real results. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will bring senior-level judgment, maturity, and presence, whether you are a strong L2 stepping up in scope or already operating at Senior level. You will excel at driving clarity in ambiguous environments, connecting the dots, and turning broad goals into structured, actionable plans. You will communicate with precision and adapt your message to different audiences, so stakeholders understand context, expectations, and next steps.
