Senior Product Manager, Growth

ABOUT THE ROLE The Senior Product Manager, Growth role at GitLab is a high-impact position that requires owning the self-serve product journey end-to-end, from a visitor's first interaction with GitLab.com through trial, activation, and paid conversion. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Product Manager, Growth, you will be responsible for consolidating acquisition, activation, and monetization into a single connected experience, using experimentation and product data to compound growth across the full funnel. Key responsibilities include: - Owning the self-serve journey end-to-end, spanning signup, trial, activation, and monetization - Using product usage and event data to identify high-impact, well-scoped growth opportunities, and running a continuous test-and-learn cadence across the funnel - Partnering with Engineering, Design, and Data counterparts to scope, sequence, and ship experiments, surfacing cross-functional dependencies early in each initiative - Defining success metrics for each initiative, and connecting roadmap decisions directly to customer and revenue outcomes - Operating with a small, autonomous team, owning your roadmap and the outcomes it produces WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you will require: - Experience in product management, ideally owning a self-serve or product-led growth funnel end-to-end - Strong technical skills, understanding how software is built, packaged, deployed, and operated - Strong analytical skills, SQL proficiency, and a hypothesis-driven approach to product decisions - Experience with experimentation and A/B testing, with a track record of shipping frequent, measurable product improvements - Comfort working directly with production usage and event data - High independence and pragmatism, with a strong bias for action - Excellent written and spoken English, and comfort working asynchronously in a distributed team WHY REMOTE As a remote employee, you will be part of a global team that values collaboration, innovation, and flexibility.
