Senior People Business Partner (HRBP)

ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior People Business Partner at Workato, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our organization. You will partner with regional APAC leaders to co-create and execute talent and business strategies, providing strategic guidance on organizational design, talent planning, and complex employee matters. This is a high-impact, regional role focused on scaling teams, guiding change, enabling performance, and evolving HR processes to support our scale. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior People Business Partner, you will be responsible for: Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, aligning people strategies to business objectives and helping leaders scale teams effectively Partnering with leadership on strategic workforce planning, succession planning, and capability development Providing senior-level guidance on organizational design, role clarity, and team effectiveness Providing Employee Relations support, offering thought partnership and guidance throughout the performance management process Driving initiatives that promote a high-performance culture, including performance management, feedback culture, and engagement strategies tailored to local context Guiding leaders and teams through periods of change, including business transformation and growth-related evolution Leveraging people analytics to support decision-making and identify trends Collaborating strongly across People Ops, Employment Legal, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and Finance to ensure seamless HR delivery, optimize processes, and balance risk Embracing an AI and Automation mindset to streamline processes WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: 8+ years of HR experience, with 4+ years HR partnership experience at a senior, strategic level Strong experience partnering within Global, APAC and GTM-facing roles Experience in tech/high-growth/scale-up environments is required In-depth knowledge of labor laws and experience working across multiple APAC markets Experience managing complex employee relations and a strong understanding of local and regional compliance frameworks Hands-on experience with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar) as part of your regular daily work flow WHY REMOTE At Workato, we believe in fostering a flexible, trust-oriented culture that empowers everyone to take full ownership of their roles.
