ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Partner Development Manager will play a critical role in identifying, developing, and executing strategic partnerships with leading companies in the AI and data analytics space. This individual will own a portfolio of partner opportunities and will be responsible for sourcing structural deals with companies that are defining how AI-native software gets built and distributed.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Senior Partner Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
- End-to-end ownership of strategic partnerships with LLMs, Hyperscalers, AI developer tools, data platforms, and niche providers who can fill product gaps
- Market analysis and due diligence, with emphasis on quantitative support for new partnerships and market entries
- Deal structuring and negotiation, including term sheets, revenue share, data licensing, API embedding, pipeline, and revenue commitments
- Expanding and elevating Mixpanel's exposure within new strategic partners, driving alignment up to and including C-level relationships
- Collaborating with Channel and Enablement teams for seamless handoffs around GTM execution, co-sell motions, joint pipeline, and co-marketing
- Inbound partner management, including screening, routing, and ensuring timely resolution
- Owning the room with cross-functional stakeholders to close and activate partnerships
- Designing and executing unique playbooks with partners, aligned with committed outcomes
- Collaborating with marketing and demand gen teams to launch partnerships and campaigns
- Defining and evangelizing the value proposition with partners
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 8+ years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5+ years in strategic technology partnerships, alliances, or corporate development
- A track record of closing deals with real structure, including negotiating terms
- Fluency in the modern data stack (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Supabase) and the AI developer ecosystem (LLM platforms, agentics frameworks, vibe-coding tools, MCP Servers)
- Technical fluency to hold credible conversations with CPOs or platform teams, and commercial acumen to close deals
- An innate sense of urgency and prioritization, with exceptional communication skills and the ability to create executive-level deliverables
- Hands-on experience with AI, including building, shipping, or breaking something, and understanding what developers experience when evaluating a platform
- Ability to operate and create structure within ambiguity, with exceptional cross-functional leadership and the ability to command the room and drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales/GTM, Legal, and Channel organizations
