Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE Adyen is a leading financial technology platform providing payments, data, and financial products to prominent customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. As a Senior Manager of Community Marketing, you will play a key role in developing and launching Adyen's first community programs, fostering long-term trust, and turning customers into a strong growth engine. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Manager of Community Marketing, your primary responsibilities will include: Developing the strategy for Adyen's first-ever community marketing program in North America, defining the community vision, audience segmentation, program pillars, success metrics, and multi-year roadmap. Executing member engagement programs from end-to-end, including curated events, regional meetups, webinars, and user groups. Creating and owning community communications that drive awareness, engagement, and connection across programs and events. Building a content engine by translating community engagement into scalable content, social proof, referrals, testimonials, and thought leadership. Defining success metrics and determining how to translate member value into business value, reporting on insights and learnings, and using data to continuously optimize programs. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, account management, and commercial strategy teams, to bring the community vision to life. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: At least 10 years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 5 years specifically focused on community building, preferably in Fintech. A proven track record of executing virtual and in-person community events across various formats, including webinars, meetups, 3rd-party sponsorships, and flagship events. A data-driven mindset, with the ability to establish KPIs, measure success, and use insights to inform program strategy. Creative program thinking, with the ability to bring fresh ideas for engaging members and making community feel like a destination. Strong relationship skills, with the ability to take initiative, operate with autonomy, and drive programs forward even in ambiguity. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and compellingly across member-facing content, internal updates, and executive presentations. WHY REMOTE This role is based out of Adyen's San Francisco office, and the company values in-person collaboration. However, as a remote-friendly company, Adyen offers flexible work arrangements and the ability to work from anywhere.
