Senior Infrastructure Engineer

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of customer engagement by building and operating large-scale, cloud-native systems. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer on the User Data Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for evolving EKS lifecycle, multi-tenant isolation, and regional consistency, ensuring clusters remain secure, performant, and predictable as we scale. You will also improve reliability and cost by identifying areas of waste (storage, compute), and improve automation of our Elasticsearch cluster management system (shard management, data retention, indexing, cross cluster re-balancing). WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - 5+ years of experience building and operating large-scale, cloud-native systems (SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles) - Deep production experience with Kubernetes (controllers, CRDs, Helm/Kustomize, autoscaling, security context) - Experience managing Infrastructure-as-Code at scale (Terraform) - Strong software engineering skills in Java or Python; ability to read/extend code in other languages when needed - Demonstrated leadership: mentoring peers, driving cross-team initiatives, and influencing engineering culture WHY REMOTE As a remote employee, you will be part of a global team with a presence in San Francisco, New York, Denver, London, and Lisbon. Within this range, individual pay is determined by specific US work location, as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and internal equity considerations.
