Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE Webflow is redefining how modern marketing teams build, manage, and optimize web experiences. As a Senior Platform Engineer, Infrastructure you will shape the foundation that powers our entire organization, from the cloud landing zone to the self‑service pipelines that enable developers and non‑technical builders alike. Your work will directly influence the speed, reliability, and security of every product and service that our customers rely on. You will own the corporate cloud architecture across multiple accounts, regions, and services, designing VPCs, DNS, PKI, and secrets management that are both secure and scalable. You will craft policy‑as‑code guardrails, tagging standards, and cost controls that allow teams to provision resources autonomously while maintaining compliance with our security and financial objectives. Your expertise will help create a seamless, automated delivery experience that reduces friction and accelerates time to market for all stakeholders. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will design and maintain the shared services that underpin Webflow’s entire infrastructure, ensuring high availability and resilience. You will lead the development of Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible pipelines that automate infrastructure changes, enforce best practices, and provide repeatable, auditable deployments. You will build self‑service pathways for code hosting and deployment, enabling builders to create and launch projects with minimal platform intervention. You will partner with Site Reliability Engineering to monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and continuously improve system reliability. You will manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and identify cost‑saving opportunities across the cloud stack. WHAT YOU'LL NEED You bring at least five years of platform or infrastructure engineering experience, with a proven track record of owning production cloud environments. You are proficient in a major cloud provider, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and have deep knowledge of multi‑account architecture and networking fundamentals. Your hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible, combined with GitOps‑style delivery pipelines, will be essential. You understand observability concepts and have worked with tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana to provide actionable insights. You are comfortable applying FinOps practices to manage and optimize cloud spend. Your communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with SREs, security teams, and product engineers, translating complex technical requirements into clear, actionable plans. WHY REMOTE Webflow embraces a fully remote, distributed culture that empowers employees to work from any location in the United States. Our asynchronous collaboration model ensures that teams can coordinate across time zones without sacrificing productivity or cohesion. Flexible scheduling allows you to balance professional responsibilities with personal commitments, fostering a healthy work‑life integration. Remote work also expands our talent pool, enabling us to attract the best engineers regardless of geography. BENEFITS Webflow offers a competitive benefits package that includes comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage; a generous paid time off program; a remote work stipend; and a dedicated learning budget to support continuous professional growth. We also provide a performance‑based bonus program and equity opportunities, aligning your success with the company’s long‑term vision.
