ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Group Strategy Manager to join our team at Monzo. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of our business and driving growth across Europe. With a strong track record in strategy development, market assessment, and growth-oriented strategic topics, you will work closely with our C-suite, GMs, and senior stakeholders to inform key decisions and drive business outcomes.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Senior Group Strategy Manager, you will lead high-impact strategic projects and workstreams, conducting commercial and market analysis to underpin strategic decision-making. You will shape strategy for Monzo Group or a specific business line, from problem definition through to recommendation, and build and develop market intelligence to track competitors, market shifts, and trends. Additionally, you will support corporate development activities, including target screening, due diligence, and execution of potential M&A transactions.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in strategy development, market assessment, and growth-oriented strategic topics. You should have experience working at a Tier 1 strategy consulting firm or a high-growth company, with a track record of running complex workstreams or smaller projects and owning deliverables end-to-end. You will be a highly analytical, data-first strategist who is comfortable querying data, evaluating unit economics, and working with robust financial models. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are also essential, as you will need to confidently challenge senior leaders, build consensus, and clearly articulate complex strategies.
