Senior Financial Systems Administrator

ABOUT THE ROLE The Senior Financial Systems Administrator will be the day-to-day owner of Vercel's finance tech stack, partnering with the Finance Transformation team to keep systems running, troubleshoot complex issues, and build AI-powered tools to automate support. This is a build role that requires hands-on experience in NetSuite administration, AI tooling, and finance business processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of procure-to-pay and record-to-report processes, be able to troubleshoot cross-system issues, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Financial Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for owning production support end-to-end for Finance systems, administering and troubleshooting across the finance tech stack, and becoming an expert on Serval, our AI-powered ticketing platform. You will also design and build AI agents and internal tools that automate Finance Transformation workflows, reimagine our project intake process, and maintain strong financial systems controls. Additionally, you will support month-end close, coordinate with vendors and internal technical partners, and troubleshoot complex, cross-system issues. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need 5+ years of experience in financial systems administration and support, with deep hands-on experience in NetSuite administration. You should be comfortable owning a shared ticket queue, juggling multiple concurrent systems and stakeholders, and troubleshooting complex issues end-to-end. You will also need a solid understanding of finance business processes, especially procure-to-pay and record-to-report, and be able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. WHY REMOTE This role is fully remote, with standard working hours of 9:30 p.m.–6:00 a.m. IST to support PST stakeholders. You will be required to work extended PST-aligned hours during month-end close.
