Job Description

Senior Environmental Sustainability & ESG Manager ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior Environmental Sustainability & ESG Manager at Twilio, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's environmental sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategy. You will lead the development and implementation of initiatives to minimize Twilio's environmental footprint, promote social responsibility, and enhance governance practices. WHAT YOU'LL DO Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and executing a comprehensive environmental sustainability strategy that aligns with Twilio's business objectives and industry best practices - Conducting regular environmental impact assessments and implementing measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, waste, and other environmental impacts - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG considerations into business decision-making and drive sustainable growth - Establishing and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including NGOs, regulatory bodies, and industry associations - Analyzing and reporting on ESG performance metrics, including carbon footprint, water usage, and waste reduction - Identifying and mitigating potential environmental and social risks associated with Twilio's operations and supply chain WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you will need: - A bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, business administration, or a related field - At least 5 years of experience in environmental sustainability, ESG, or a related field - Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability initiatives - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders - Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders - Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, regulations, and industry best practices WHY REMOTE As a remote employee at Twilio, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere and enjoy a range of benefits, including a competitive salary, comprehensive health insurance, and a generous education stipend.
