Senior Director, Brand & Market Influence

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a Senior Director, Brand & Market Influence to shape the global reputation and market presence of Fastly, a leading edge cloud platform company. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for defining the conversation around edge cloud technology, security, and web performance, ensuring that Fastly is recognized as the definitive platform of choice. WHAT YOU'LL DO As Senior Director, Brand & Market Influence, you will lead a talented team across PR, brand strategy, and creative design, guiding them to deliver exceptional results in the following areas: - Guide and mentor the team to manage strategic agency partnerships and drive creative execution across web experiences, global events, and corporate assets. - Direct global PR and communications strategies to maximize proactive storytelling and protect corporate reputation, leveraging your experience navigating a fast-moving, AI-driven media landscape. - Architect thought leadership platforms that transform Fastly's technical innovations and unique data insights into powerful initiatives influencing industry analysts, tech leaders, and mainstream business media. - Partner cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Campaigns, Digital, and Executive leadership to ensure corporate brand initiatives align with pipeline generation activities. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you will need: - 12-15+ years of progressive marketing leadership within technology industries. - Creative and communications expertise, with a proven track record of directly leading multi-disciplinary teams across PR, communications, and corporate creative/design studios. - Exceptional ability to distill deep, complex concepts into compelling, human narratives that capture market attention. - Deep experience managing top-tier global PR networks and creative agencies, with sharp instincts for media relations and corporate reputation management. - A master collaborator with a bias for teamwork, capable of building consensus and driving win-win solutions with senior leaders. WHY REMOTE This position is open to Hybrid and Remote Work Locations within the US, with a strong preference for Hybrid near a local office. However, we may be willing to consider remote candidates within the US. BENEFITS We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive salary range of $209,560 to $288,000, equity participation, and discretionary bonus programs.
