ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Senior Audit Transformation Lead to help reinvent Internal Audit at Monzo, a UK-based digital bank that's on a mission to make money work for everyone. As a key member of our Internal Audit team, you'll have the freedom to redefine how assurance is delivered at scale, by being at the heart of Internal Audit's transformation agenda.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Senior Audit Transformation Lead, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of Internal Audit at Monzo. Your responsibilities will include:
* Translating Internal Audit's strategy into a concrete product roadmap with measurable business and risk outcomes
* Championing a product owner mindset across the Internal Audit function, focused on providing technology-enabled, repeatable, and value-driven assurance
* Working closely with the Senior Audit Innovation and Enablement Lead, Head of Professional Practices, and the audit team to identify opportunities for innovation
* Modernizing the Internal Audit function by embedding technology into what we do and how we do things
* Coaching the Internal Audit function to adopt new technologies and ways of working
* Building collaborative working relationships with stakeholders outside of Internal Audit, such as Risk and Compliance
* Driving communications and engagement across Monzo to maximize the value of Internal Audit products and insights
* Influencing and shaping cross-functional initiatives that have an impact on the Internal Audit function
* Positioning Monzo as a leading benchmark for technology-led assurance by building strategic partnerships with regulatory bodies, industry forums, and academia
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To succeed in this role, you'll need to be a natural collaborator who can bridge different stakeholder groups to turn ambitious ideas into reality. You'll also need to have:
* The ability to influence senior stakeholders and technical leads without direct line management authority
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate data or engineering concepts to non-technical audiences and translate business requirements into technical specifications
* Experience of leading agile, digital, or operational transformations in a fast-moving environment
* A track record of managing product roadmaps and driving end-user adoption
WHY REMOTE
This role can be based in our London office, but we're open to distributed working within the UK, with ad hoc meetings in London. We offer flexible working hours and trust you to work enough hours to do your job well, and at times that suit you and your team.
